Repair work to two bridges begins

Motorists have been warned of possible delays as a £1.8m scheme to repair two bridges over Peterborough begins.

Work to the bridges on the Bretton Interchange on Soke Parkway in Peterborough started earlier and should be completed by March 2010.

A Highways Agency spokesman said lane closures would be in place at junction 16 and for three nights the road would be closed.

Drivers are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.
