A reward of £5,000 is being offered for information which identifies the rapist and leads to conviction
Detectives investigating the rape of a woman in Cambridgeshire have taken the "unusual" step of offering a £5,000 reward for information.
A CCTV image of a man officers wish to speak to in relation to the attack on a cycle path in Peterborough has also been released
A woman, 27, was raped on the path, next to Gresley Way, on 19 May.
Earlier this year detectives took more than 300 DNA samples from men living nearby, which have proved negative.
Det Insp Simon Harding said: "It's [because of] the serious nature of the offence that we've taken this unusual step of offering a reward for the identity of the offender or for any other information which might lead to it.
"I'm hopeful that someone in the community will have some information and that this reward will provide a further incentive for them to come forward."
The CCTV image released shows a man in a light-coloured top, pictured after the incident.
