Person dies following A14 crash

One person has died following a collision on the A14 in Cambridgeshire, police have said.

The incident involved two vehicles on the eastbound carriageway at Stow cum Quy, close to the Newmarket turn, at 1330 BST.

Cambridgeshire Police have not released further details as the deceased's next of kin have not been informed.

A 63-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is in police custody.

The incident caused closures on both carriageways.
