Residents celebrate CCTV target

A ceremony has been held to celebrate the installation of CCTV equipment bought by residents after two years of fundraising.

Colville Estate Residents' Association raised £16,000 for the equipment in Cherry Hinton High Street, Cambridge.

Councillor Robert Dryden from the residents' association said: "We are the first in Cambridgeshire to have bought our own CCTV."

He said it was hoped that a second camera could be installed soon.
