Football fans have say on police

Football fans are being asked for their opinion on how matches should be policed when Peterborough United play Championship matches next season.

Cambridgeshire Police are asking supporters about issues including safety, crowd control and traffic flow.

The force first carried out a survey last year and, as a result of the responses, changed match-day policing.

Ch Insp Gary Martin said getting the views of fans was important in improving the way matches were policed.

He said: "This will help us to identify any problem areas or local issues that still exist so that we can deliver an even better service in future."

The survey will be available on the police website at a later date.
