New adult services chief chosen

A new director of community and adult services at Cambridgeshire County Council has been appointed.

Rod Craig, currently working for the London Borough of Southwark, will be executive director of the newly-organised department.

He will be responsible for all adult social care and services including libraries, community development and adult learning.

The department was previously part of environment and community services.
