A school in Cambridgeshire has its own full-time police officer and a police community support officer.

They are based at Thomas Clarkson Community College as part of the government's Safer Schools Partnership.

Pc Dave Marsh and PCSO Dan Thomas aim to help to divert young people from social exclusion and criminality.

They also hope to work with the school to identify those who are at risk of becoming victims or offenders, as well as those who already are.

The officers have already been working closely with pupils to promote activities which put something back into the community, including restoration of Leverington cemetery and its building.
