Police in search for sex attacker

Police are continuing their operation to find a man who sexually assaulted a 42-year-old woman near a football ground in Cambridge.

It happened on Wednesday night on the dirt track known as Cut Throat Lane behind Cambridge United's ground.

The man pushed the woman into bushes and she suffered slight injuries during a struggle.

The attacker is described as mixed race, aged between 20 and 23 and was wearing a blue and pink checked shirt.

Det Sgt Alan Wilkinson said: "We would like to hear from anyone who recognises the description of this man or who may have seen him in the area around the time of this attack."
