Lorry driver killed in collision

A lorry driver has died in a collision with two other vehicles on a road in Cambridgeshire which has seen a number of deaths in recent years.

The accident happened during the morning rush hour on the A1307 at Abington, near Cambridge, during which the lorry overturned on to its side.

The road was closed for a number of hours while emergency services attended the scene.

Police appealed for any witnesses to the incident to contact officers.
