Pedestrian is killed by vehicle

A pedestrian has been killed by a vehicle on the A1307 in Cambridgeshire, police said.

The victim was struck by the vehicle at Horseheath, between Linton and Haverhill, on Friday evening.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Police was unable to release the identity of the victim and said no further information is currently available.

Cambridgeshire Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash, or with information about it, to contact them.
