Two killed in head-on collision

Two people were killed and two others were critically injured in a head-on crash in Cambridgeshire.

The two survivors were thrown out of their vehicle by the force of the impact of the collision on the A10 dual carriageway in Melbourn.

A Peugeot 206 was involved in the crash with a silver coloured Vauxhall Zafira on Saturday.

Officers cordoned off the road for more than four hours as they investigated the collision.

The injured were taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge.
