Two buildings in the east of England have won national awards after being shortlisted by the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Jurors praised the "extraordinarily difficult piece of integration into a Neo-gothic setting" of Girton College Library and Archive in Cambridge.
The other building is privately-owned Holly Barn in Norfolk, which provides access for its disabled owner.
The RIBA awards will be presented on Thursday at the Hilton Hotel in London.
The two buildings will be competing with the other RIBA Award winners for the RIBA Stirling Prize in association with The Architects' Journal.
Other nominees in the East were The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute expansion in Cambridgeshire, which is Europe's leading centre for genome research.
