A nature reserve has closed for a month to prepare for the opening of a new £3.5m visitor centre.
The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Welney, Cambs, has closed to allow staff to be trained to use the high-tech, eco-friendly facilities.
The new centre has been built using environmentally responsible techniques and energy saving technology.
The wetlands, on the Ouse Washes, is home to some of the most spectacular winter gatherings of wild swans.
The visitor centre will open its doors to the public on 24 April.
