Ms Lyons said Davey was charismatic and entertaining

The step-daughter of a music teacher jailed for 13 years for abusing young girls in his care has spoken of her own abuse at his hands.
Antoinette Lyons waived her anonymity in the case, after Brian Davey, 67, of Milton, Cambridge, was sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
Davey pleaded guilty to 27 sex offences, including one attempted rape.
"Silence has not protected anyone and certainly doesn't protect children," Ms Lyons said.
"I've stayed silent for so long now. Twenty years of silence is something worth giving up if it's for a greater good, like this.
"I have nothing to lose by speaking openly now."

Ms Lyons said with all paedophiles there were two sides to their character.
"Paedophiles groom very carefully, I know that as a victim of his grooming.
"Parents had no hesitation at sending their children to be with him. He was charismatic and entertaining.
"I was considered lucky by many to have him as a step-father.
"Obviously people don't know what lies beneath that.
"Six of us in there (court) did and a further four who didn't feel able to attend today (Friday) also knew very well and probably many other women knew what lay beneath," she said.
Ms Lyons said she was very pleased with the sentence and it was more than expected but it could never reflect what was heard in court.
'Report any suspicions'
She advised parents who trusted home tutors to be "very, very careful".
"I do encourage parents to report any suspicions they have, however tiny they may be, because lots and lots of tiny add up," she said.
Davey taught in schools in Islington, Thames Valley and Cambridgeshire, and also provided private tuition.
He pleaded guilty to nine counts of gross indecency with a child, and 15 counts of indecent assault of a female under 16.
Davey also plead guilty to two counts of inciting a child to commit acts of gross indecency and one count of attempted rape of a female under 16.
In court he was disqualified for life from working with children.
