DIY graffiti clean-up kits offer
Graffiti on garage door
The council hope removing graffiti will discourage vandals
Free graffiti removal kits are being given out in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire to encourage residents to clean up after vandals.

The kits, designed to remove graffiti from a range of surfaces, including brick, stone and concrete, are part of a scheme to tidy up parts of the city.

A city council spokeswoman said that by removing the graffiti people would be demonstrating pride in their area.

It is hoped the use of the kits will discourage further attacks.
