The Cambridge engineering company Marshall Aerospace has won a multi-million pound government order for anti-terror emergency vehicles.
The company said the deal - along with a £100m contract from the Ministry of Defence - had secured its future.
The contract is for 200 hi-tech fire engines which would be used in the aftermath of any potential nuclear or biological attack.
Marshall Aerospace is the UK's leading privately-owned aerospace company.
