Cash earmarked for A428 dualling
Transport Minister Tony McNulty
Work to dual carriageway the A428 will start later this year.
A total of £55m is to be spent cutting congestion and improving safety on the A428 dual carriageway between Caxton and Hardwick.

The announcement was made by Transport Minister Tony McNulty on Wednesday at the Cambridgeshire Horizons conference in Cambridge.

The money will be used to build a 4.8 mile dual carriageway and a major junction at Hardwick later this year.

Mr McNulty said: "The government is committed to improving safety."

He also announced that the public consultation for A14 improvements between Ellington and Fen Ditton will start on 30 March.
