Archaeologists investigating a suspected ancient settlement site have uncovered a cylinder believed to be an unexploded World War II bomb.
A bomb disposal squad was called to the site near the Oakington immigration centre north of Cambridge following the discovery.
The device was unearthed by an archaeologist late on Friday afternoon, near Brookfield farm.
Police say there is some disruption to traffic and diversions are in place.
