A prehistoric site near Peterborough will feature on a television programme on 30 January.
The site, which a local archaeologist says was a former marketplace, dates back to 3,500 BC.
Archaeologists working for the Channel 4 programme 'Time Team,' uncovered the Neolithic causeway in Northborough.
Dr Francis Pryor, President of the Council for British Archaeology, said the site was one of the country's earliest meeting places.
"They are ceremonial meeting centres, marketplaces, which were constructed around 6,000 years ago. They really are the earliest sort of gathering places in British history," he said.
