Private eye 'to help in search'
Fred Moss
Fred Moss has not been seen since 30 November
A private investigator may be brought in to help search for the missing traveller, Fred Moss.

The 21-year-old has not been seen since leaving his aunt's house in Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex, on 30 November to go hare coursing in Cambridgeshire.

Although his body has not been found, officers are treating the case as a murder inquiry.

Mr Moss's family say they are now considering hiring a private detective to help find him.

A few hours after Mr Moss disappeared, his dog Nellie was discovered wandering at Thriplow - about three miles from the Shepreth lay-by.

Three days later, on 3 December, his distinctive new van was found in a car park a few miles away at Steeple Morden.
