The death of a Norfolk hairdresser whose body was found in a ditch near Cambridge nine years ago is to be reviewed, police have said.
Russell Marsom, who was 29, from Hunstanton, left his home in March 1996 to go to a nightclub in Cambridge with a male friend.
His partially-clothed body was found at Milton the next day. A post-mortem examination showed he had drowned.
Cambs Police said new evidence had come to light which would be reviewed.
Police launched a major inquiry after Mr Marsom's death, which had not been closed. One man was arrested but no charges were brought.
