A fifth man was arrested on Wednesday night on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and released on police bail.

Detective Inspector Neil Smith said: "I am still convinced that the answers to what happened in Cottenham that night lie within the village."

He particularly appealed to anyone who was in the pub on Saturday night, no matter how briefly, to talk to police

He also asked for anyone who had telephoned information anonymously to ring back and provide a formal statement.
