Hospital trust boss moving jobs

Miss Mills took up her current position in February 2003

The chief executive of North Bristol NHS Trust is to leave her post to take the same position in Oxfordshire.

Sonia Mills is due to take up her new position at the end of February after finalising plans for Bristol's new "super hospital" at Southmead.

On leaving her post, Miss Mills said her role with the North Bristol Trust was one of her "most difficult, yet rewarding", times of her career.

Director of operations Ruth Brunt, will become interim chief executive.

Miss Mills took up her current position in February 2003.
