Man's eye damaged in bike attack

A pedestrian suffered a fractured eye socket and retina damage when he was punched by a man on a motorbike.

The 28-year-old was walking through Elm Park in the Filton area of Bristol when the motorbike, with two men on board, approached on Tuesday evening.

The bike circled around him several times and he was then hit by one of the men.

Neither wore crash helmets but one was wearing an orange beanie-type hat. Police have appealed for witnesses.
