Old bras wanted for child charity

Women in North Somerset are being asked to send their old bras to a charity raising money to help women and children in Sierra Leone.

Soroptimist International of Bristol will send the bras to Africa where women run a business picking out the parts that still work and reusing them.

Bras in a very poor condition will be bundled and recycled through Bristol Textile Recycling.

For every ton of recycled bras the charity receives 500 for its projects.
