Cannabis plants seized by police

Police raided the house in Juniper Way on Tuesday morning.

More than 400 mature cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £180,000 have been seized in a raid on a house in South Gloucestershire.

Officers discovered the plants in five rooms at the four-bedroomed detached home in Juniper Way, Bradley Stoke.

A police spokesman said the operation had been as a result of information received from the community.

A 48-year-old man arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation is due to be questioned by detectives.
