A mother and baby have been taken to hospital after a glass door panel shattered at Harvey Nichols in Bristol's new £500m shopping mall.
It is believed the eight-month-old baby was being taken in a push chair through the doorway when the incident happened.
Harvey Nichols said it would not speculate on how the accident happened and would be viewing CCTV to establish the cause.
The accident came a day after the Cabot Circus centre opened.
The store spokesman added: "The door has been taken out of service and customers are being being directed to another entrance."
It is not believed the injuries are serious.
