Youth in court on terror charge

A teenager from Bristol has appeared at the Old Bailey charged with failing to disclose information on an alleged terror plot.

Hashi Omar, 18, of Easton, was charged in connection with the case of Andrew Ibrahim who was arrested in April.

Andrew Ibrahim was charged with trying to make a bomb. Hashi Omar is alleged to have not told police about his friend's alleged activities.

Mr Omar, now living in St Jude's, was remanded on bail until 17 October.

Hashi Omar is due to appear at Bristol Crown Court and Andrew Ibrahim is expected to appear at the same court on the same day.
