Road to close during maintenance

The B3124 Clevedon Road in North Somerset is to close to through traffic for four weeks while maintenance work is carried out.

The work will begin with kerb and footway repairs on Monday.

The following Monday the carriageway will be resurfaced from North Weston through Weston-in-Gordano, which is 2.2miles (3.6km).

A signed diversion will be put in place via the M5. Access will be maintained to properties, businesses and the pub.

The X25 bus service will divert onto the M5, but will still serve both Clevedon and Portishead.

The whole project will cost £270,000.
