Cash robbery at city bookmaker's

A man leapt over the counter of a betting shop in the Kingswood area of Bristol and demanded cash.

Police said the man was with an accomplice who stood guard at the door of the shop in Moravian Road last Saturday afternoon.

Both men were black, aged 25-30 years and about 6ft 4ins tall.

The first man had short dark hair, was clean shaven and wearing a dark grey jumper. The pair ran off with a quantity of cash.

The second was well-built with short dark hair and clean-shaven. He was wearing a brown jumper, black trousers and large brown-framed glasses.
