Woman raped walking through woods

A 22-year-old woman has been attacked and raped as she walked through a wooded area in Bristol.

The victim was approached by a man described as Asian in appearance, in Kings Weston Wood.

Police, who are appealing for witnesses to come forward, said the woman was attacked on 8 August at about 2000 BST as she walked towards Shirehampton.

The attacker is described as being in his mid 30s, 5ft 6in (1.67m) tall and of stocky build.
