Concorde inquest continues

Jurors at an inquest have been shown CCTV footage of an incident in which a man died at the Concorde Visitor Centre in Bristol in September 2004.

People were seen rushing to help Horace Livall, from Bristol, after he fell 15ft (5m) from a gap between the temporary gantry and the Concorde.

It is thought that the plane may have shifted over time, lifted by winds, but

no one noticed the gap increasing.

The jury heard Mr Livall fell as he was taking a photograph of his daughter.

The Concorde visitor centre was established by Airbus and the charity the Bristol Aero Collection.

The incident happened just six weeks after the centre was opened to the public.

The court has heard claims that health and safety measures were not carried out properly.

The inquest at Bristol Coroner's Court is expected to finish on Monday 9 June.
