Police seized 13 vehicles and made four arrests in a crackdown on various motoring and drugs crimes.
The Avon and Somerset force worked with licensing, driving and revenue agencies as part of Operation Utah 10.
A total of 88 vehicles were stopped, with four arrests made for disqualified driving and drug possession and 13 vehicles seized for no insurance.
Police said the operation was a multi-agency success with a number of motorists facing fines and prosecution.
The operation combined the agencies of the Avon and Somerset police, VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency), HM Revenue and Customs and the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency).
Automation Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology was used by the police to monitor drivers in South Gloucestershire.
ANPR systems check up to 3,000 vehicles an hour against intelligence databases held by police, Crimestoppers and the DVLA.
