Club gets more play-off tickets

Bristol City FC have obtained another 2,000 tickets for their Wembley play-off final against Hull.

Half of the 36,000 tickets available for non-priority fans sold out in 20 minutes, leaving many disappointed.

The extra tickets will go on sale on Wednesday morning, but will be limited to priority groups such as 2008/09 season ticket holders and shareholders.

Because of the short notice, the tickets will be only be available for sale at the Ashton Gate ground.

A number of callers to the BBC at the weekend complained of difficulties getting through when phoning for tickets.

A club spokesman said the levels of sales on Sunday were "unprecedented".

Meanwhile, the club said it would not be hosting a giant screening of Saturday's final at Ashton Gate because of operational issues.
