A new collaboration between FRANK Water and The Mall shopping centre will provide clean water to people in India and keep Bristol 10K runners hydrated.
FRANK Water was set up in 2005 by Bristol entrepreneur Katie Alcott, 28.
It sells bottled spring water in the UK and uses the proceeds to provide safe water in developing nations.
The Mall's Simon Dix said: "By working with FRANK Water not only do we provide vital water for Bristol athletes but we provide water for communities in need."
Bristol's 10K race is being held later on Monday.
The Mall will also be sponsoring FRANK Water at the Reebok Bristol Half Marathon in September.
"The project we are supporting in India is fantastic. The UV filters zap the bacteria and viruses so the water is guaranteed to be clean, and the project is fully sustainable. We are proud to be part of the solution," said Mr Dix.
In addition, FRANK Water is working with Network-Recycling to encourage recycling of the bottles.
