New centre opening date revealed
Bristol's new multi-million pound city centre development is due to open this September, it has been revealed.

The date of the official opening for Cabot Circus has been pencilled in by developers for 25 September - but the date could still be changed.

"The Alliance, a joint venture between Hammerson and Land Securities, is cautious about the opening date," said a spokesman.

The scheme, an expansion of Broadmead shopping centre, has cost 500m.
