Charge over phone box explosion
Police examine the scene
Police are continuing to look for a second man
A teenager has been charged after a red telephone box was blown up by a firework near Bristol.

The 18-year-old male appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Tuesday charged with criminal damage likely to endanger life.

The explosion in Warmley on Sunday completely destroyed the box and debris was scattered over a 100m radius.

Police said they were continuing to search for a man whom they believe to have been involved in the incident.

The teenager was released on police bail to appear at Bristol Crown Court later.
