Six charged over serious assault
Six people have been charged following a serious assault on a Bristol man more than three months ago.

John Hall, 47, remains in hospital after sustaining a serious head injury during an attack in September in Catherine Street, Avonmouth.

Mr Hall was initially taken to Frenchay Hospital has now been transferred to a hospital in Newcastle where he is being treated for a significant brain injury.

Detectives have charged six men with joint grievous bodily harm.

Lee Hale, 27, and Paul Hale, 51, both from Severn Beach, John Gibbs, 20, from Weston-super-Mare, Jason Glanville, 31, from Pilning, Ryan Hill, 24, from Yatton and David Hill, 41, from Avonmouth, are due to appear before Bristol Magistrates Court later.
