Sat nav thefts treble in a year
New figures show a large rise in the number of satellite navigation systems being stolen from vehicles in Bristol.

More than 1,500 devices were taken by thieves in the Avon and Somerset area last year - nearly three times the number the year before.

Personal MP3 players are also highlighted as being tempting to thieves, with 163 stolen in the past year, double the previous 12 months.

Police have urged people not to leave their belongings on show.
