Five-year plan to improve homes
North Somerset Housing is to carry out 48.5m of repairs, maintenance and improvements contracts to its tenants' homes over the next five years.

Day-to-day repairs, gas servicing, central heating installation and modernisation jobs will be carried out.

There will also be extra investment in sheltered housing, disabled adaptations and estate improvements.

When the work is completed 1,350 new kitchens will have been fitted and 4,860 homes will have new front doors.
