New children's hospice is to open
A new children's' hospice for the West Country is due to open on Monday.

The purpose-built centre at Wraxall, about 11 miles from Bristol, cost more than £12m.

It has been designed to provide an ideal environment, both for children who have life-limiting illnesses, and their families.

It is only the second children's hospice in the region. Together, the centres can help up to 400 families annually.

The new hospice has been built on derelict farm land.
