Daughter's plea for dad to return
Sophie Smart
"My dad is the most wonderful man you could meet"
The daughter of missing Jeremy Smart has appealed for help to find her father after he vanished on his way back from football practice.

The father-of-two was last seen after leaving his Headley Park home on Sunday and there are concerns he has not taken urgent medication for diabetes.

Sophie Smart, 17, said her dad was the most wonderful man you could ever meet:

"I love him so much. He loves me, my brother and my mum more than anybody. We all love him so much," she said.

Miss Smart added: "Everyone always describes him as a happy guy - he has never been sad or moody.

"He's lovely. You couldn't meet a nicer bloke."

The family believe Mr Smart may have left because he felt his illness was a burden to them.

They said there have been no arguments and that they are a very happy family of four.

Mr Smart, a stonemason, was last seen at about 2100 BST after he had finished playing football at Withywood School.

He is described as white, 5ft 8ins, of slim build with short grey or mousey-coloured hair and a stubble beard.

He was wearing a khaki-coloured T-shirt and blue shorts.

It is thought he may be driving a Mercedes 208 Sprinter registration no WU03 ZGY.

The family is asking anyone spotting this to contact police.
