School evacuated after gas leak
A Bristol school was evacuated on Friday morning after gas was detected in a corridor.

Pupils and staff left the Grange School in Warmley, South Gloucestershire, shortly after 0900 GMT.

Engineers from Transco were called in and made the buildings safe before handing over to council contractors.

Transco spokesman Paul Brakey said: "We made the site safe in about 30 minutes, then left it to contractors to finish off the repair."
