Murder probe after mystery injury
A murder investigation has been launched after the death of a man found with head injuries in Bristol.

Dean Jeffery, 39, was found in Fishponds on 22 September after leaving a shop for his home on Ridgeway Parade.

Mr Jeffery called for an ambulance several hours after the incident and was taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary where he died on Friday.

Police have released an image of Mr Jeffery's clothing in a bid to jog the memory of any witnesses.

Detectives say they are unsure what happened to Mr Jeffery between him leaving the shop at 2100 BST in Fishponds Road and returning to his home.
