Bat cam gives glimpse of colony
Lesser Horseshoe bats at Dunster Castle
The bat cam allows visitors to watch the colony live
A colony of bats living in a Somerset castle is to become the latest star of "reality TV".

The National Trust at Dunster Castle has installed a camera in a 17th Century stable block, which is the summer home to Lesser Horseshoe bats.

The camera is linked to a speaker, monitor and interactive control panel.

Property administrator Stephen Hayes, said: "We hope the camera will enable us to learn more about the behaviour of the Lesser Horseshoe bats."
