Buses would link the new station with the main centres

The city of Gloucester will know within two months if it is to get a new £20m Parkway train station.
A site between the Elmbridge and C&G roundabouts has been earmarked for the development which is included in the county council's transport plans.
The plans have been submitted to the South West Regional Assembly which next meets in March.
The Parkway station plan is vying with other transport schemes in the South West for money.
'Improve access'
The scheme has been part of a consultation for the past year.
Some residents have voiced concerns that the plan will cause further problems at the already congested Elmbridge and C&G roundabouts in the city.
But, Charles Gillams, from Gloucestershire County Council, said the plan will "improve access to Gloucester, relieve traffic at the already congested Elmbridge Court roundabout and ease the flow of traffic up to the C&G roundabout".
He added the work around the station would "provide new bus and cycle routes into the heart of the city".
