Man is charged after car pursuit

A 31-year-old man has been charged with violent disorder and dangerous driving after an incident involving a chase at the weekend.

Police were called in the early hours of Sunday by a man reporting that his car was being followed.

The car was attacked twice during the night after several chases through the city centre.

The man, who police say is a Turk, is due to appear before the city's magistrates' court on Wednesday.
