Buses halt to remember war dead
Drivers of First buses in Bristol pulled over to observe a two-minute silence to mark Remembrance Day.

The company said it was an opportunity for customers and staff to remember those who died in the two world wars and those serving in conflicts today.

Drivers came to a halt shortly before 1100 GMT where it was safe and legal to do so at the time.

Poppy wreaths were laid on the war memorial at the Lawrence Hill depot in memory of staff who gave their lives.

Passengers were reminded that several bus journeys would be affected by road closures this Sunday for Remembrance Day services.
