A fourth Bristol City player is to be questioned by police in connection with a fight at a nightclub.

Striker Steve Brooker has been asked to attend an interview at a police station after the brawl in St Nicholas Street.

His team-mates David Partridge, 26, Scott Brown, 20, and Bradley Orr, 23, were arrested last week on suspicion of violent disorder.

They were later released on bail, but have been reprimanded and fined by the club for breaching its code of conduct.

In a statement, Bristol City Football Club said: "We can confirm that Steve Brooker has been asked in for questioning by police, relating to the incident at a Bristol nightclub last week.

"The club is making all necessary arrangements for this to happen."
