Zoo is a-flutter over missing owl
An Eagle Owl
Bristol Zoo has appealed for information
An Eagle Owl has gone missing from Bristol Zoo while taking part in a flying demonstration.

The owl, known as Olly the Eagle, disappeared when he was let free during a show.

Olly is described by zoo staff as "a nice bird with a nice temperament". It is not yet known why he absconded.

Rick Newton, from Bristol Zoo, said: "If we don't get him back we will convince ourselves he can handle the wild, but it would upset us."
